 To
create an efficient and effective vehicle for children and their
families worldwide to voice their views on family, social and global
life, recognizing children's rights to special care and assistance
as per the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
(UNCRC), ICP will:
Work in partnership with International Governments, schools, children's
organizations, which are concerned with the welfare of children
throughout the world;
Create an International website for ICP to gather children's submissions,
Give children the opportunity to express themselves without distinction
of any kind, such as race, colour, gender, language, religion, political
or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or
other status; and,
Edit and post submissions through the ICP website to be made available
to children and families worldwide.
To obtain funding to provide support to schools enabling them to
acquire the technological equipment required to access the International
Children's Project website, to:
Promote the ICP; and its goals in communities worldwide and to solidify
public interest in order to obtain funding.
To ensure that children and families - including those with diverse
cultural backgrounds - will be able to access the views of others
worldwide to promote social progress and better standards of living.
Through ICP's recognition that some countries and/or communities
do not have access to this type of resource, ICP will:
Research social, cultural, political, legal and economic barriers
to information;
Provide access to the website for children and their families in
these communities; and,
Work with other children's organizations to create avenues for access
to ICP's website.
To promote global and gender equity in every community to ensure
that children develop to become productive members of their societies.
